Inexpensive Sporting Goods Christmas Shopping with Decathlon

Decathlon has launched the country's largest Christmas campaign to assist buyers in finding inexpensive sporting and recreational products at unbelievable prices.

With its '24 Days of Sport' sale, Decathlon, an international athletic goods designer and retailer, has launched the country's largest Christmas sales promotion.

Decathlon will run daily promotions on various products in-store and online from December 1 to December 24 as part of its Christmas sale. Daily specials will include up to 50% off a wide range of items, including tents and camping gear, kayaks, surfboards, and water sports accessories, mountain bikes, kids bikes, scooters, and cycling accessories, and much more!

Decathlon will also run 'Mega Deals' in-store for the first ten customers who shop in-store at any of its locations. In the run-up to Christmas, Mega Deals will be held every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Mega Deals will offer deep discounts on popular items to recognise and reward customers for purchasing in-store, such as their famous soft archery kit for $50 (usually $125), weight benches for $50, bikes for $100, and more.

“With Christmas just around the corner, we want to spoil our customers and help them celebrate the joy of the festive season,” Decathlon Australia CEO, Olivier Robinet said.

“While some retailers are struggling to get stock and there is a shortage of bikes across the country, we want people to know that we have warehouses and stores full of stock including lots of bikes ready for people to buy. There is no shortage of bikes or any other items at Decathlon, we have plenty of everything at exciting prices.

“We have all types of bikes, mountain bikes, kids bikes, road bikes, trekking bikes, scooters and much more – all ready to be picked up in-store or delivered.

“Our ’24 Days of Sport’ is about spoiling all types of sports lovers, and our ‘24 Days of Sport’ campaign allows us to excite customers with a new offer every day on a new sport.”

Robinet emphasises that Decathlon is about helping Australians to access and participate in sport.

“Not only are we making sport more accessible through our innovative and world class designed products, we are physically providing people with somewhere to go so they can try high quality sporting products and outdoor products for free, ride bikes and scooters around, shoot some hoops, hit some balls, and fall in love with everything that sport has to offer,” Robinet added.

“Sport is about being active and being involved and we are giving Australians a real, genuine and authentic space where they can come and play and appreciate how much fun sport can be.

“In addition, we are also backing the quality and performance of our own Decathlon branded products by introducing our world-first ‘life-time returns’ for MVP members.

“Decathlon customers registered as MVP members that buy our proprietary Decathlon branded items in store or online will now have access to our ‘life-time returns’ so that if the product ever fails or doesn’t perform as it should they will be able to return it and exchange it.*

“This is exactly the kind of peace of mind shoppers need when they are buying Christmas presents for those they care about.”

Decathlon is a member warehouse and membership is free. Shoppers simply sign up in store or online. Anyone can visit Decathlon but they must be a member to purchase products. Products are available in-store and online 24/7.
