Autumn Must Have Beauty Products & Treatments
Kérastase Chronologiste a Customised 4-Step Routine for Beautiful Hair
When Glen suggested I have a 'caviar' treatment in to help my hair repair from the bleaching I took him literally and thought it was real caviar! Doh!
In fact it is an in-salon treatment which establishes a ritual haircare routine that women and men can do in-home with Kérastase products. Think of it as the Rolls Royce of hair treatment. The secret ingredient is the caviar pearls that are crushed just before use and mixed with a velvety cream to treat damaged hair. The caviar is a botanical based formula. The treatment starts with a preparation carefully applied to the roots of the hair followed by washing and massage. Next step is the caviar treatment, which is massaged into the scalp and then a hot towel is applied to help the treatment penetrate the hair. Followed by another wash.
I left the Paddington salon feeling very relaxed (all that head massaging), and looking fabulous. It's been a couple of weeks and my hair still feels soft although I do invest in Kerastase shampoo and conditioner, it makes a difference when you use quality products at home. I must say, that Cyril, pictured below does give fantastic head massages! Check out the photos in the video below.
These treatments are available at both Franck Provost in Double Bay and Paddington.
Woohoo Wild Deodorant Paste
Deodorant pastes seem to be the new thing, and I for one worry about traditional antiperspirants and the chemicals absorbing into my body. I've been using Woohoo Natural Deodorant Paste It’s 100% natural and vegan friendly and it works! There is a spatula for easy application but I just rub it gently between my fingers and apply with my hands. It is certainly different from the traditional antiperspirant deodorants. Woohoo Natural Deodorant comes in a 70gm jar that will last 4-6 months and it’s Australian owned and made. I also love the fragrance and I have no hesitation using this product because I know it’s not sending nasties into my skin. WINNER “Best Natural Deodorant” 2017. Around $17
