Accomodation Review: Fraser Suites Sydney
From the moment I walked into the lobby of Fraser Suites Sydney I knew that I was going to enjoy my stay here because first impressions count! The foyer is chic with lounge chairs, gorgeous floral displays and artwork. The reception area has plenty of friendly staff greeting guests with smiles; you get the impression that nothing is too much trouble. It's also the little things that make you feel welcome like an inviting bowl of apples for guests to help themselves.
Check in was quick and I was also told how to log into the free wi-fi; an essential part of any hotel or venue I stay in.

I noticed that both the foyer and the hallway on my floor did not have that 'hotel' smell; in fact, the hallway had a very pleasant fragrance and very clean. On entering my apartment I had a big smile because, to be honest, I wish I actually lived here! I'm impressed with the work station - plenty of room for blogging! I'm already convinced at this stage that Fraser Suites Sydney is somewhere I'd recommend to anybody looking for serviced apartments in Sydney.
It's spotless! That's the first thing I always take note of, I'm a 'germ phobic' person! If I had three words to describe this suite it would be: home, modern, upmarket.
My photos don't do justice to the view! It's a lovey outlook over Darling Harbour and Town Hall. I love windows and light, and I have plenty of both here. The windows actually open! Heaps of brownie points for that because I always struggle staying in hotels with no fresh air; it makes it very difficult for me to sleep. I also noticed how quiet it is and as I'm typing this at 9.00 pm at night, it's silent. No noise from the outside and no neighbour noise either.
The suite has two televisions. That makes me laugh because I'm a bit of an oddball and never watch TV so they don't get turned on at all. One is in the bedroom.
I really like the bedroom it has a beautiful ambience. The bathroom is just on the side of the bedroom and it is very clean, with plenty of space for toiletries and a good sized shower. The toiletries supplied are L'OCCITANE. Good choice!
The other fab thing about the Fraser Suites Sydney is the location. Just next to Town Hall Station and close to the vibrance of China Town. I checked out the in-house dining and the menu is varied with light meals, pizza & burgers, mains & sides and desserts. You can order between 6.00 pm and 11.00 pm.
I opted to visit Regent Place for dinner. I can't believe that a Sydney blogger has never been here before! It is totally awesome with so many great restaurants. This centre is buzzing! Great places to eat and shop. You won't go hungry hanging around here.
As well as Regent Place other places nearby are World Square with many retail outlets and restaurants. For movie lovers Event Cinemas is just a few steps away and of course China Town is only a few blocks down the road.
As I mentioned before there is no restaurant at Fraser Suites Sydney however all room service meals are prepared in-house. Breakfast is available on the Mezzanine level, and I enjoyed a home-made bacon and egg quiche, freshly squeezed kale and mint juice and fresh fruit. The area is very comfortable, stylish and a great place to start the day.
My verdict of Fraser Suites Sydney? Fabulous and definitely great accomodation for both tourists and business people.
